Holy shitsnacks. There were around 30 of you who jumped all over my shit regarding yesterday's yellow cup that as it turns out, is NOT from Dick's Last Resort but actually from Dickey's Barbecue Pit. I've never been to one since there were none back in Boston or here in SWFLA, but rest assured I'll work to rectify that mistake as soon as possible.

The China Clipper was the first of three Martin M-130 four-engine flying boats built for Pan American Airways and was used to inaugurate the first commercial transpacific airmail service from San Francisco to Manila in November 1935. Built at a cost of $417,000 by the Glenn L. Martin Company in Baltimore, Maryland, it was delivered to Pan Am on October 9, 1935 and was one of the largest airplanes of its time. On November 22, 1935, it took off from Alameda, California in an attempt to deliver the first airmail cargo across the Pacific Ocean. Although its inaugural flight plan called for the China Clipper to fly under the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge (still under construction at the time), upon take-off the pilot realized the plane would not clear the structure, and was forced to fly over instead.
The red telephone box, a telephone kiosk for a public telephone designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, was a familiar sight on the streets of the United Kingdom, Malta, Bermuda and Gibraltar. Despite a reduction in their numbers in recent years, the traditional British red telephone kiosk can still be seen in many places throughout the UK, and in current or former British colonies around the world. The color red was chosen to make them easy to spot. From 1926 onwards, the fascias of the kiosks were emblazoned with a prominent crown, representing the British government. The red phone box is often seen as a British cultural icon throughout the world.
The old construction sign was in front of The London Textile Co which is no longer at this location. Rick
Hey Ernie, You're not kidding on Expert for the bottle opener. There is no street view of the front of the European Fabric store located at Leninsky Prospect Street. Vavilov, 6, Moscow, Russia. The girls are enjoying a summer day across the street in Yuri Gagarin Square, as seen in this Google Earth photo. When someone comes up with better ID of the shop, I'll bow humbly as say "Good Job". Dennis
Hey Ernie, You can find your "bottle opener" in Moscow, Russia. If you go here, you can see it dos a lot more than just open bottles. Keep'em coming, Tim
Well, I love wine and I love food, so it only makes sense that I should attend this Wine and Food Festival so show me where I am going. And since I obviously can't drive there, let me know if this plane has the range to get me there.
A spoiler is an automotive aerodynamic device whose intended design function is to 'spoil' unfavorable air movement across a body of a vehicle in motion, usually described as turbulence or drag. Spoilers are often fitted to race and high-performance sports cars, although they have become common on passenger vehicles as well. Some spoilers are added to cars primarily for styling purposes and have either little aerodynamic benefit or even make the aerodynamics worse. Sports cars are most commonly seen with front and rear spoilers. Even though these vehicles typically have a more rigid chassis and a stiffer suspension to aid in high speed maneuverability, a spoiler can still be beneficial.
