Not long after his arrival in Montreal in 1782, John Molson sensed the market potential for beer in the then British colony. Prices for wine, rum and port were rising and an influx of English and Irish immigrants were particularly partial to beer. When he came of legal age, Molson used the money inherited from his parents to acquire a small brewery housed in a wooden building on the shores of the St Lawrence, just outside the fortifications of the burgeoning City of Montreal. Founded in Montreal in 1786, the Molson Brewery is the oldest brewery in North America and continues to produce beer on the site of the original brewery. The company brews and markets a number of the most popular brands of beer in Canada. Domestic labels include Molson Canadian, Molson M, Molson Export, Molson Dry, Molson Exel De-Alcoholized beer, Old Style Pilsner, Rickard's, Creemore Springs and Granville Island Brewing.

Politicians and activists rushed to decry gun violence and advocate new gun control legislation as an attack on the campus of Ohio State University unfolded Monday. An 18-year-old Somali man attacked a group of people with a car and butcher knife, police said. Due to erroneous media reports during the attack, many people assumed it was an act of gun violence and began calling for stricter gun control laws before police officials commented on the event. Among those prematurely condemning loose gun laws or decrying gun violence were Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts and and Democratic VP nominee Tim Kaine. Perhaps the NRA summed it up best when they tweeted, "Sad when politicians rush to a narrative that fits their own agenda, instead of waiting for the facts."

Okay, Caddyshack challenge. Who was this guy who was almost run over by this boat? Nope, not Michael Window. he was the sound effects guy from Police Academy. The little known actor's name is Matthew Burch and even though his acting profile is still active, I don't know how much work he's getting because I believe he needs/needed a kidney transplant? Given the eyes and the impaired kidney function, I'm guessing Graves disease maybe?

Ernie, I think I tracked the fire extinguisher down to O'Neill's Bar in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. This gentleman is wearing the same style shirt. Cheers Sean

There are two things I'd like to accomplish after my orthopedic checkup this afternoon. First I'd like to restore all things in Christ and then maybe grab some lunch. Show me where I'm headed to, young Padawan.

Ever given the opportunity of a lifetime and turned it down? Well, these actors turned down the most iconic roles that have ever been offered. Luckily their careers seemed to play out just fine, but could imagine turning down some of these iconic films? They have to have some sort of regret. For example, The now-classic mafia film The Godfather offered the role to many big names in the business as Paramount reportedly thought the project to be a risky venture and they wanted a more established star to play the lead. Apart from Nicholson, Robert Redford, Ryan O'Neal, and Dustin Hoffman were all offered the role, but they each declined. Al Pacino accepted it, and it became one of the best performances in movie history.

A traditional wine glass is used to drink and taste a variety of different wine. A wine glass is recognised for its shape and form, including: the bowl, stem and foot. The glass shape is a major factor which influences taste, aroma and the enjoyment of wines. The size of the wine glass differs depending on the type of wine and the glassware manufacturer. Stemless wine glasses have definitely changed the wine industry, with many wine experts and critics endlessly arguing about the benefits of wine glasses vs. stemless wine glasses. It is only recently that stemless wine glasses have become increasingly popular and are frequently found in hotels, bars, restaurants and other commercial locations.
