Fuck It, I Say Rand Paul In 2020. Who's With Me?A cabriole leg was used by the ancient Chinese and Greeks, but emerged in Europe in the very early 18th century, when it was incorporated into the more curvilinear styles produced in France, England and Holland. It was first developed in Europe by the Dutch in the early 1700's, and made its way to America about 30 years later. The style of the carving generally seen in England is a lion's paw, and an eagle's talon in America. Many of the antique claw foot tables of the Queen Anne era, which lasted from approximately 1725-1755, stood on gracefully curved, slender cabriole legs. Several types of these exquisitely handcrafted antique tables with ball and claw feet include dining room tables, tea tables, bed side tables, candlestick tables, and tripod tables. Lucky Strike brand was introduced in 1871 by the company R.A. Patterson in the USA as chewing tobacco. The founder of Luckies was inspired by the era's rush for gold searching. Only some of the gold diggers were fortunate enough to find gold and this was often referred to as a lucky strike. By choosing this expression as the product's name, it meant consumers who were choosing the brand were lucky, as they were choosing a top-quality blend. Lucky Strike was a brand of chewing tobacco, and by the early 1900s, it had evolved into a cigarette. Cyberphobia is a concept introduced in 1985, described as a specific phobia expressed as "an irrational fear of or aversion to computers" or more generally, a fear and/or inability to learn about new technologies. There are different ways that someone could experience cyberphobia. Teachers may experience a form of cyberphobia if they are forced to change their way of teaching. Or in the case of celebs like Angelina Jolie, you can do all of your shopping via catalog, "because looking at Amazon sends her brain in different directions." And Jennifer Lawrence, who says she'd never get Twitter? Guess what? She's on Twitter. Well, she drinks something by the case. What is it?
Last week I linked to some el cheapo red dot sights to plink with. Well this week, Amazon has outdone itself. Four years ago I paid almost $50 for a 4-reticle red/green reflex sight that's tall enough to coexist with iron sights. This morning I picked up three of them for $30. You should totally do the same, since they're only $10 shipped. Heirlooms? No. But at $10, who the fuck cares? A grommet is a ring or edge strip inserted into a hole through thin material, typically a sheet of textile fabric, sheet metal and/or composite of carbon fiber, wood or honeycomb. Grommets are generally flared or collared on each side to keep them in place, and are often made of metal, plastic, or rubber. They may be used to prevent tearing or abrasion of the pierced material or protection from abrasion of the insulation on the wire, cable, line being routed through the penetration, and to cover sharp edges of the piercing, or all of the above. A small grommet may also be called an eyelet, used for example on shoes, tarp and pool tie downs, and sails for lacing purposes.
If you travel to Germany, getting broadband Internet access with a local access provider is a challenge or expensive or both. Free WiFi hotspots are rare or non-existent. Local access providers require a local telephone number and a service contract for home or mobile service in order to get flat or low cost Internet access. A new service called BlueSpot is provided courtesy of Wall AG, a Germany company delivering city furniture and advertising kiosks to customers worldwide. See if you can find this Blue Spot kiosk. Although every guy is unique, most guys fit generally into one of two categories: alpha male or beta male. The alpha is the confident and charming leader, and the beta is the shy guy who is often frustrated with his lack of success in various aspects of his life. Beta males typically lack assertive behavior, and get get taken advantage of or don't experience the benefits that come from assertiveness and even aggression. Beta Males have real trouble standing up for themselves, especially saying “no.” They may even say “yes,” when they mean “no” to please people. They will often take insults or criticism lying down. They may tell a woman everything is fine when it is not, or let their boss crap on them at work, but when they get alone, things change. The passivity takes its toll, and emotions well up. This is the dark side of beta male: passive-aggressiveness. |
