Peter Hayden Dinklage is an American actor born in Morristown, New Jersey, the son of John Carl, a retired insurance salesman, and Diane Dinklage, an elementary school music teacher. Dinklage was born with achondroplasia, a common form of dwarfism. Dinklage graduated from Delbarton School in 1987, and Bennington College in 1991. Since 2011, he has played Tyrion Lannister [season 1, season 2, season 3, season 4] in the HBO series Game of Thrones, which earned him the Emmy and the Golden Globe Award for Supporting Actor in 2011. Dinklage ended his acceptance speech with a mention of the name Martin Henderson, and the suggestion to 'Google him'.
