The Ferrari 250 GTO is a GT car which was produced by Ferrari from 1962 to 1964 for homologation into the FIA's Group 3 Grand Touring Car category. The numerical part of its name denotes the displacement in cubic centimeters of each cylinder of the engine, whilst GTO stands for "Gran Turismo Omologato." When new, the GTO commanded an $18,000 purchase price in the United States, and buyers had to be personally approved by Enzo Ferrari and his dealer for North America, Luigi Chinetti. In 2004, Sports Car International placed the 250 GTO eighth on a list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s, and nominated it the top sports car of all time. Similarly, Motor Trend Classic placed the 250 GTO first on a list of the "Greatest Ferraris of all time". The classic car maniacs at Petrolicious have scored a real coup for their latest web video. It's a 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO, of which there are said to be only 35 in the entire world. Far from an outdated relic, the 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO is still an impressive piece of machinery 50 years after its birth.

Jonathan Safran Foer is an American writer who released Foer's debut novel, Everything Is Illuminated; in 2002. The German translation followed in the spring of 2003 under the title Alles ist erleuchtet. The novel tells the story of a young American writer named Jonathan Safran Foer, who is on his way to the Ukraine to find the woman who, according to his family to have saved his grandfather from the Nazis. It is still available for 9.95 Euros.
