Parabola is a song by the American rock band Tool, the song was released as the second single from their third studio album Lateralus. It was released in 2002 as a promo only, however, on December 20, 2005, the single was re-released, which includes the song and a DVD containing the music video and an optional dual audio commentary on the video by Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys fame. The song is featured on the video game Guitar Hero World Tour. The song was played onboard Space Shuttle mission STS-130, as a wake-up call for astronaut Robert Behnken. The song closes with the final lyrics, "We are eternal. All this pain is an illusion."

Now, I don't know about you, but when I found out Kate Upton had made the cover again, I wondered how many models had made the cover more than once, let alone two years in a row. The Ocean Center is a multi-purpose facility, in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA. It was built in 1985 and expanded in 2009, doubling the facility's size. In 1985, the Ocean Center opened with 60,000 square feet of exhibit space and 18 breakout rooms. Christian pop singer Amy Grant performed the first concert at the Ocean Center on Oct. 3, 1985, singing to 2,938 people. The Ocean Center is host to various annual events, including the Spring Break Nationals, a world renown car audio showheld during spring break.

Few things demonstrate our mastery of the natural world better than nuclear power -- the godlike ability to dig certain elements out of the ground, split their atoms, and use them to power our homes and/or kill a billion people. But then, after decades of trying to perfect safe and easy nuclear power, scientists discovered that a fully operational nuclear reactor had been safely chugging away under the West African dirt, long before humans came along. This sounds like something that would turn up in an outlandish documentary about stuff built by aliens, but the most remarkable thing about it is that the Oklo mine reactor in Gabon is completely natural. Back in the 1970s, the French were mining uranium out of Gabon when they came upon the strange discovery that what they were digging up was depleted uranium (the waste from a nuclear plant) and even plutonium which doesn't (otherwise) exist in nature. This reactor, assembled by nature due to random chance, generated about 100 kilowatts of electricity, got hot enough to boil off nearby groundwater, and consumed more than five tons of uranium before it shut itself down millions of years ago. Somehow, all of the elements just fell together to form a naturaly balanced, self-regulating nuclear plant, and it kept running for 150,000 years.

It peaked at number thirty-six on the USA Billboard Hot 100, a lower position than that of the album's previous single, "Are You Happy Now?".
