If He Cried Our During That Tattoo, I Wonder if They Called Him A Pussy?Batsanis was established in 1956 by Arthur Batsanis. Arthur was a traditional and highly skilled boot maker who honed his craft in Europe. After emigrating to Australia and settling in Melbourne, Arthur started his business as a shoe repairer. Due to ever increasing requests, he began making tailor made shoes for his customers. It became clear to him that there was a need for stylish, well crafted shoes which remains true to this day. Demand for his footwear grew strongly and by 1987 Batsanis shoes were being sold Australia wide. Who needs a subscription to men's magazines likes Maxim, FHM, Esquire or even Playboy these days? Seems a bit silly to pay for a year's worth of magazines when most of the models are posting the same images on Facebook and/or Twitter on a daily basis. I am actually fairly new to Twitter, but am relatively adept at needless Internet research. Which is how I've come to realize that Twitter is a fascinating blend of super sexy photo shoots and the ordinary day-to-day goings on of the sports world's sexiest broads. Naturally I've spent countless hours of my life (that I'll never get back) scouring Twitter to bring you the hottest pics of every athlete, WAG and smokin' hot chick vaguely associated with MMA. You know it's only because I care deeply about you. Here are the 100 steamiest Twitpics of the last few months, and a few bonus pics because you're my favorite.
Well, it's good that you're not so quick to hand out money to them because out of $8,894,632 they spent from June 2010-June 2011, only $2,810,681 went to helping people. But hey if that's your thing, get your groove on because Facebook status updates change the world all the time. Linoleum is a floor covering made from renewable materials such as solidified linseed oil (linoxyn), pine rosin, ground cork dust, wood flour, and mineral fillers such as calcium carbonate, most commonly on a burlap or canvas backing; pigments are often added to the materials. The finest linoleum floors, known as 'inlaid', are extremely durable; they were made by joining and inlaying solid pieces of linoleum. Cheaper patterned linoleums came in different grades or gauges, and were printed with thinner layers which were more prone to wear and tear. Good quality linoleum is sufficiently flexible to be used in buildings in which more rigid material, such as ceramic tile, would crack. Sand dunes are stunning examples of nature's artistry, and they aren't just found on Earth. This stunning set of images shows they can be found on other planets too — specifically Mars. You can see how the winds that whip across the surface of the Red Planet have sculpted a huge variety of sizes and shapes, just as winds do the same on our own planet. The dunes seen here in Noachis Terra are a perfect example of this.
An overhead power line is an electric power transmission line suspended by towers or utility poles. Since most of the insulation is provided by air, overhead power lines are generally the lowest-cost method of transmission for large quantities of electric energy. Towers for support of the lines are made of wood, steel, concrete, aluminum, and occasionally reinforced plastics. The bare wire conductors on the line are generally made of aluminum, or sometimes composite materials, though some copper wires are used in medium-voltage distribution and low-voltage connections to customer premises. A major goal of overhead power line design is to maintain adequate clearance between energized conductors and the ground so as to prevent dangerous contact with the line. Today overhead lines are routinely operated at voltages exceeding 765,000 volts between conductors, with even higher voltages possible in some cases. A facial recognition system is a computer application for automatically identifying or verifying a person from a digital image or a video frame from a video source. One of the ways to do this is by comparing selected facial features from the image and a facial database. It is typically used in security systems and can be compared to other biometrics such as fingerprint or eye iris recognition systems. Also, in addition to biometric usages, modern digital cameras often incorporate a facial detection system that allows the camera to focus and measure exposure on the face of the subject, thus guaranteeing a focused portrait of the person being photographed. Some cameras, in addition, incorporate a smile shutter, or take automatically a second picture if someone closed their eyes during exposure. a treasury of the world's thirty dolphins stranded and incredibly saved - abandoned leper colony just 350 yards from the bronx |
